Detailed modeling is useful for showing precise and intricate features or existing or proposed buildings and sites.
Features including windows, doors, sidewalks, roof lines, building and paving materials, streetscape elements, and vegetation can easily be shown.
This type of modeling is best suited for displaying smaller areas (i.e. streetscapes, intersections, parks, store fronts, etc.). Detailed models of this type accompany large-scale blocking or massing models.
