Grandville Parks and Recreation Plan

Grandville is an active, traditional community just outside of Grand Rapids with a predominance of young families. Residents have access to many park and recreation opportunities in and outside of the City, both passive and active.

 
The LSL Plan identified ways to maximize use of existing parks, and on providing a diverse range of facilities to address a variety of interests among residents. The public outreach process included focus group meetings with school children to help the LSL team better understand the needs and interests of the community.

Conceptual plans advocated use of existing facilities, while introducing new facilities to promote diversity. Trail extensions and connections were also planned to link to the regional system. Finally, the plan identified a few opportunities for park land acquisition.
